Hi, all!

I'm a fan of author John Scalzi, an Ohioan who writes sci-fi, fiction, and non-fiction, and also maintains one of the oldest and most-read author blogs, "Whatever." Almost a year ago, Scalzi posted a response to a reader's questions about how he, an agnostic, raises his daughter in a Christian majority country, and I found his response reasoned, clear, comforting, and rather inspiring. I'm always keeping an eye and ear out for words like these, instructive words from someone who is in a similar situation to me: a non-believer raising kids in a pro-belief world. And unlike many of the other posts and articles I've read, this one is not incendiary and does not take a moral highground to make points.

I invite you to have a read, and please feel welcome to share your thoughts here, or with me in person. Thank you!
